how the library workse
This library is a postal service only. You will be required to pay £10 refundable deposit for each sling your hiring. the hire period lasts for 2 weeks from the day you receive the package. you may extend the hire by a further 2 weeks if you talk to me first. I can support you with the carriers you choose, either by phone or Zoom or email etc which ever you prefer. You will “be required to pay £10 postage to get the carrier to you, and you will be responsible for posting “back at end of the hire. the deposit will only be refunded on safe return of the slings in “good condition. please talk to me if there is any damage to the slings before sending them back. if the carrier is damaged , or the “accessories are damaged, or you do not return them, you will be accountable for the full replacement cost of the carrier and accessories. I wanted to do this library because so many libraries are closing sadly. And as a blind person, I know how frustrating it is not to be able to touch something before buying it! but anyone can benefit from the library because it’s always helpful for anyone to try before buying.
